She is Jackalope Theatre’s Playwright in Residence and also the co-founder and producer of the comedic trio, Women Off-Color, who debuted an original genre bending sketch comedy show at A Red Orchid Theater in Chicago and are currently on a national tour.

 

Since receiving her Theatre and Creative Writing Degree from Northwestern University, Anelga's work has been seen in stages across Chicago, LA, and Boston! Recent credits include Zabel In Exile (Boston Playwright’s Theatre), The Singularity Play (Jackalope Theatre), Selling Kabul (Northlight Theatre), and Tragedy Averted (iO).

 

Beyond the stage, Anelga is a digital content creator (@hayerenhayeren123) producing engaging videos exclusively in Western Armenian for a growing audience of over 16,000 followers. She is passionate about revitalizing the Armenian language through humor, cultural commentary, and storytelling.
